Indonesia Village Food – AUTHENTIC RENDANG – Indonesian street food in West Sumatra, Indonesia

Indonesian street food in West Sumatra, Indonesia – In this video, I will take you on a culinary journey in West Sumatra to try authentic Sate Padang Panjang, visit a traditional Minang village, and finally eat authentic beef Rendang.

To start our Indonesian street food tour in West Sumatra, I found a small shop on the side of the road making a traditional cake called Kue Mangkuak.

To continue our Indonesian street food tour in West Sumatra, I visited the beautiful Lake Singkarak and then had lunch in Padang Panjang at the most iconic Sate Padang restaurant in Indonesia, Sate Mak Syukur.

Moving on with our Indonesian street food tour in West Sumatra, we unexpectedly bumped into a traditional Minang village full of traditional houses. We managed to enter the kitchen and also witness the making of the authentic beef Rendang.

To end our Indonesian street food tour in West Sumatra, we headed back to Padang to try an authentic beef Rendang still cooked on a woodfire.

Hope you enjoyed our Indonesian street food tour in West Sumatra. Stay tuned for more videos like this.
