MYSORE, INDIA – Welcome to the historical city of Mysore (or Mysuru), which is also an Indian food paradise. Today we’re going to eat at some of the best restaurants and taste some must eat street food!

Huge thank you to my friend Ebbin @FoodNTravel – go check out his amazing videos.

Also, thank you to Giri (if you’re in Mysore, check out his restaurant: Burgerie Vegan Eatery), and Joel @JoelsTastyRide

Old Original Hotel Vinayaka Mylari since 1938 (https://maps.app.goo.gl/73Mks2QgFTGMLSHE9) – We’re starting this Mysore Indian food tour with one of the most famous spots to eat the original Mylari dosa. Unlike many dosas you might imagine that are thin and crispy, the Mylari dosa is thicker and more pancake-like, rich from ghee and butter. It’s something truly magical. When you’re there, you also don’t want to miss their extremely fluffy and tasty Idli.

Hotel Hanumanthu original since 1930 (https://maps.app.goo.gl/CHxfQHSGbwr3nTK99) – Famous for the mutton pilav, Hotel Hanumanthu has been going strong since 1930. Their pilav is unbelievably fragrant with herbs and green chilies, ginger and garlic. It looks simple, but the flavor is unparalleled. They also have many meaty side dishes like brain masala and mutton chops. The freshness of the meat stands out.

Mysore Pak + Market Tour (https://maps.app.goo.gl/ujwxXfnbsA4ujSQW8) – No one can visit Mysore without trying the legendary and original Mysore Pak at Guru Sweet Mart – a sweet that’s not famous across India. This sweet dessert has a very unique and Royal history.

Usman Dry Gobi (https://maps.app.goo.gl/HjprgEzcZ5P23jyU8) – Cauliflower is turned into something truly magical and spectacular at Usman Dry Gobi. The coating of chickpea flour and masala makes it extra crispy and the chutney enhances it perfectly.

Annapoorneshwari Fast Food – Another Indian street food you have to try in Mysore is tomato bath, similar to a tomato rice pilav.

We ended this incredible food tour with Masala Puri and a sweet Badam Shake!
