Vietnam street food – Snail RED Soup, Snail Porridge, Snail Rolls for Dinner

I was amazed by observing the full process of River Snail Cooked Three Ways for 5 People Family Dinner Meal in Vietnam. Talking about Vietnam street food, Vietnamese love all the dishes from river snail. In Vietnam, locals cook river snail using recipes which are around more than 100 years. River snails are freshwater big snails. They are fat, slimy and full of protein. They come from rice fields or muddy rivers. Cooking river snail in Vietnam is a complicated process which requires a lot of cooking skills. The cook must know how to clean snails the right way. Otherwise snail would smell really bad and people unwantedly would have to eat the dirt and sand along with snails. Vietnam snail cooking and eating is an interesting event that you should not skip when visiting Vietnam. I was lucky to be invited to a 5 people family dinner meal in Vietnam which all the food was made from river snail. Cheers for River Snail Cooked Three Ways in Vietnam!
