what i ate in a day [ korea ] ~
breakfast — poke bowl
I went to the grocery store right before they closed, so I was able to get fresh tuna on sale for $10. I made 2 different types of sauces then added furikake (rice seasoning) and toppings.
lean tuna
kewpie mayo
sriracha
thai sweet chili
scallions
fatty tuna
ss
chili oil
sesame oil
sesame seeds
lunch —
📍ikseondong, seoul — I absolutely loved the strawberry tea + strawberry french toast. I also ate the purple soft serve I’ve been seeing all over social media.
📍myeongdong, seoul — there were so many street food options, but I decided on the potato tornado
dinner —
It was midnight and I was hungry, so I ordered pork soup + mandu with food delivery. I know it looks like a lot of plastic, but recycling laws in Korea are very very strict. There are so many different categories you need to separate your recyclables in and sometimes there are even workers to watch you as you separate it. I’ve been yelled at by ahjussis in the past and it is scary 🙁 On top of that you can be heavily fined for not following the rules.
