Varanasi Street Food Series!
Pizzeria Vatika Café serves the best Indian Street Food in Varanasi and they are certainly the bakery king of Varanasi that bakes the best apple pies in India and their veg pizza is as authentic as a pizza can get. Loaded with all the fresh ingredients and mozzarella cheese, the bubbly and stringy cheese pizzas to die for are made fresh in the clay oven. They also serve the best ginger honey lemon tea and a variety of pastas of which I just tasted Ravioli.
I must admit the location and the food of Pizzeria Vatika is the best in Varanasi. And most of the Bollywood superstars that are shooting in Banaras have raved about this place, including one of the best chef, Master chef Vikas Khanna was a regular customer here when shooting for his debut film “The Last Colour”. The shooting of movie Mohalla Assi was also done here and Sunny Deol loved their coffee and Pizza.
I also went ghat walking to absorb the serenity of Varanasi. From meeting a local pandit ji to learning about the Akhada and also visited the birth place of Rani Laxmi Bai or Janmsthal of Jhansi ki Rani.
Overall had an amazing third day of this tasty and mesmerizing Varanasi Street Food Tour.
