I was exploring the Maidan Market in Kolkata, West Bengal when I saw some busy street food area. Whatever they were cooking looked and smelled delicious, and was very popular. There were tables full of locals enjoying this local snack.
It was so busy that I had to share a table with a local Bengali family, who were very nice and explained to me that this food is called Mughlai Paratha. It’s something like a cross between a pancake and an omelette and was very tasty! I’d definitely eat it again.
