I found this food vendor at the corner of a street selling something called “Nohutlu Pilav.” I had no idea what it was but it looked tasty.
What arrived at my table, out on the street, was a plate of rice, chickpeas and chunks of chicken liver.
I washed that down with a healthy Turkish drink called Ayran, which is a type of drinking yoghurt.
Yum, yum!
