Taiwan’s BEST Seafood + Street Food in Taitung!
Taitung is our 1st stop on our east coast Taiwan street food series! Taitung is famous for its incredibly delicious seafood! We visit the sights of Taitung such as Sanxiantai (三仙台) and the rural fish market in Chengong township! We witnessed one of the most intense fish auctions!
We are continuing our east coast tour of Taiwan to taste street food in Hualien and street food in Yilan! We sampled some delicious Taiwanese street food for breakfast in Taitung before heading north and visiting some beaches and eating delicious swordfish sashimi + lots of local Taiwanese seafoods!
Chengong township is home to the most traditional fish market in all of Taiwan! Fishermen here still use harpoons to hunt the swordfish. It was one of the most exciting markets I’ve ever visited in Taiwan!
