QUÁN CƠM VẠN HẠNH – While this place has been a staple eatery for decades, there are a few must eat dishes, that I have to have while coming here. The first is the “mam rouc thit xao”, this dish is so good is makes people who hate fermented stuff, love this dish. Funky, salty, sweet, and too good not to eat every time. Next up, get the “heo quay cai chua”, roasted pork belly with extra sour pickled mustard greens. Now, I know when you are at a restaurant that’s special for low prices you probably wouldn’t want to pick the seafood, but I promise the seafood, especially, the squid stuff with meat or the “muc don thit” is some of the most tender and flavor you will have at any restaurant.
