Join me for episode 5 and the final episode of my 2022 FILIPINO STREET FOOD series! This time I’m in CARCAR city in Cebu. This is a gastronomic city of The Philippines famed for its LECHON or roast suckling pig. Besides lechon Carcar is also famous for its chicharron, pork skin crackling.
I’m meeting up with Carcar native Reuben for the FULL lechon experience in Carcar. After visiting a back alley chicharron factory we are heading to the new market to buy some fresh lechon to take to his Auntie’s house.
