Crispy Roast BBQ Whole Calf – Vietnam street food. The BBQ whole calf might look like a dog. But it is not a dog for sure. I guess some animals look similar. FYI: Whole animal cooking or roasting is a normal practice in Vietnam. Please do not take it negatively. If you have never seen such a cooking, you need to travel and see the world more. You would see it in other countries like Philippines, China, Mexico, etc. I was super lucky to try Crispy Roast BBQ Whole Calf in Vietnam. In order to celebrate our Christmas 2017 in Vietnam, my friends and I went to this place to eat delicious roast BBQ veal / whole calf. They serve this calf meat street food only once per week. The calf meat was juicy and tender with a great smell, the smell of natural herbs, such as lemongrass and guava leaves. If you have a chance to visit Vietnam, you have to invest time and energy to eat this awesome Vietnam street food, which is Crispy Roast BBQ Calf or Veal. Otherwise, you would miss out the best of Vietnamese cuisine.
